Local Plant is looking for Recycle Plant Workers. Indoor airconditioned and out door in the elements role on a sorting line. -
As a Sorting Plant Worker, your primary responsibility will be to sort and separate recyclable materials efficiently and accurately. You will work as part of a team to ensure that the recycling process runs smoothly and that the plant meets its production targets. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Recycling plants receive various types of recyclable materials, such as paper, cardboard, plastics, glass, timbers and metals. The plant workers separate and sort these materials based on their type and quality.
Properly disposing of non-recyclable materials and ensuring that waste is handled in accordance with environmental regulations.
Adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents and maintain a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Operating various sorting equipment, such as conveyor belts, sorting machines, and shredders, to facilitate the sorting process.
Inspecting materials for contamination, removing non-recyclable items, and ensuring that the sorted materials meet the required specifications.
Flexibility for Outdoor Labor: Some positions may require occasional outdoor labor, such as assisting with the loading or unloading of materials, or working in outdoor sorting areas.
