An opportunity has arisen within our Racecourse Mill, production team for a Fugal Operator this is a seasonal fulltime position, come and join Mackays largest renewable energy provider Mackay Sugar!
About the role
You will be responsible for the separation of sugar crystals from molasses to produce raw sugar to the required sugar quality standards. Reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, you will be operating and maintaining factory equipment at the centrifugal stage. You will be a key member of the production team, achieving targets in relation to safety, quality, and productivity.
It is desirable that you will have:
Open manual drivers license
Experience operating equipment or using SCADA systems
Experience within a heavy industrial environment
You will be a person that is comfortable with working in a continuous improvement environment, and you will:
be driven by systems, processes
