Salary: 73,500 to 76,000 per annum plus superannuation.

Guru Brothers Food & Liquor Merchant Pty Ltd are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will ensure accuracy in handling financial data, manage accounts payable and receivable, and support the business in key financial tasks. Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure accuracy in handling financial data.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable accurately and on time.
• Reconcile and process invoices and payments and send remittance advices.
• Perform monthly supplier reconciliation and liaise both internally and externally.
• Analyse costs and potential expenses (e.g., wages, supplies, merchandize) and provide insights.
• Prepare and complete bank reconciliations.
• Assign expenses to the correct budget accounts.
• Summarize expenditures and income.
• Monitor cost variations and report findings.
• Verify quotations and estimates for accuracy.
• Prepare reports on costs, pricing, and profits to assist in decision-making.
Requirements:
• An AQF qualification to at least Certificate II level, or higher in Accounting or Finance or Bookkeeping or Accounts Administration or at least one year of full-time relevant experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and systems – e.g., MYOB, XERO is highly desirable.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage time efficiently and meet deadlines.
• Integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive financial information.
• Collaborative and able to work well in a team environment.
