Phillip Riley has an exciting new opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to provide a high level of support in relation to electrical engineering services.
The role of this Electrical Engineer is to work within the Electronics Engineering team to assist in design, testing and deliverables.
Duties:
Determining the project requirements and system requirements.
Interpreting plans, specifications, drawings, standards and regulations relating to electrical equipment and components.
Managing resources used in electrical and electronic equipment.
Establishing delivery and installation planning and schedules.
Supervising the operation and maintenance, design and install of electrical infrastructure.
Liaise with 3rd party sub-component designers, to ensure requirements are met.
Diagnosis and Problem Solving throughout development and field support.
General knowledge of common electronic interfaces such as USB, SATA, PCIe, Ethernet etc.
Hands on capability using electronic test equipment such as protocol analyzers, MSO’s etc.
Highly proficient in documentation and technical writing.
Highly proficient at organising, scheduling and co-ordinating.
Skills and experience required include:
Electrical Engineering experience.
Electrical Power engineering knowledge and experience.
Knowledge of Instrumentation essential.
Previous experience involving study, design and site commissioning would be highly regarded.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
