Role Objective:
As a Plumbing Tradesperson, you will be responsible for executing a variety of plumbing works throughout Western Australia, with a primary focus on the Perth metropolitan area, ensuring compliance with company standards and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities, Duties & Tasks:
• Execute plumbing work to a high professional standard, ensuring all workmanship complies with relevant codes and standards.
• Install and maintain plumbing systems, including water systems (hot and cold lines), sanitary systems, and associated equipment.
• Provide accurate cost estimations and quotations for maintenance and project works.
• Respond to after-hours callouts (when rostered) following Techworks Group procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the TWG Safety Management Framework, corporate policies, and all relevant procedures.
• Manage work orders using SimPRO job management software and follow internal scheduling processes.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders, maintaining professional communication and promptly responding to emails and phone calls.
• Attend client and team meetings to align with project goals and ensure smooth coordination.
• Participate actively in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to business development efforts.
Skills and Competencies
• Broad plumbing skills and knowledge, with experience in commercial plumbing.
• Strong time management and scheduling abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Proficient in independent work and team collaboration.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders.
• Adaptable and proactive, using initiative to adjust to changing priorities.
Qualifications and Experience
• Current Plumber’s Tradesman Licence (Provisional WA licence also considered if willing to work under Supervision)
• 3+ years of commercial plumbing experience (desirable).
• Valid C-Class WA Driver’s Licence.
• White Card and National Police Clearance.
• Working at Heights Competency and Confined Space Competency (desirable).
• Excavation Ticket (preferred).
