Phillip Riley are searching for an Electrical Engineering Technician to assist in the maintenance of plant, as well as the planning and implementing of maintenance strategies and improvements within the technical environment.
Your Responsibilities
As part of your new role you will be responsible for tasks such as:
prepares drawings, plans, and diagrams of electrical installations, circuits and stations
assisting Engineers and Engineering Team with design and layout of electrical installations on infrastructure such as substations, switches, cabling systems and motor control systems
The planning and supervision of preventative maintenance of our manufacturing machines and tools
Executing the designed improvements by installation and/or fabrication of those plans
Keeping track and ordering necessary consumables and materials while considering the budget put in place
Working together with onsite Installers for any alterations needed of installation equipment or tools
Assembly, Testing, Updates and Monitoring of all electrical equipment and ensuring legal and safety requirements are met.
Installation of assemblies for protection relays, metering and monitoring devices
About you
Minimum of 2 years experience in an relevant environment or comparable job position
Trained in using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
Excellent in interpreting and drafting of technical drawings
Confident in designing and implementing improvements in electrical process
Reliable attendance and punctuality
Ability to work independently.
Salary: $87,500- $107,500 plus superannuation
