ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re keen to connect with Software Developers who have significant experience with Java and AWS as we take on projects with a market-leading client to build core services for their customer platforms.
You will need to be confident in your ability to deliver critical functionality, whilst uplifting development standards, implementing best practices, and working with the client’s team to ensure positive outcomes.
Competitive pay ranging from $100k-$160k depending on experience . This is a full-time position on a flexible work arrangement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable APIs using Java and Spring frameworks.
Contribute to RTP Engineering Standards and Practices, ensuring alignment with React applications when adaptations or extensions are necessary.
Ensure that all projects strictly adhere to RTP Engineering Standards and Practices to maintain consistency and quality.
Collaborate across domains to scope projects that meet cross-domain solution objectives.
Contribute detailed technical designs across domains, ensuring alignment with Solution Architectures and industry best practices.
Facilitate the effective translation of Solution Architecture into a practical delivery context, ensuring endorsement from all stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS:
7+ years’ relevant work experience in Java
Cloud experience (AWS, Jenkins)
Proven working experience with frameworks (Spring)
Familiar with SQL databases
Experience in a cloud environment desirable
Familiar with event driven architectures and microservices
Experience with containerisation & release pipelines desirable
Evidence of good practices (developing clean code, maintainable, and unit testing)
