About this opportunity
The primary goal of the End User Computing (EUC) Engineer is to provide efficient, effective, and prompt delivery of IT site-based support services. The responsibility includes managing Business-as-Usual Desktop and End User Devices across Australia. The goal is to handle all daily incidents, service requests, and project requests within the stipulated SLA, ensuring a high level of user satisfaction.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Provide timely level 2 technical support and troubleshooting for end-user hardware and software issues.
- Manage and maintain end-user devices, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals etc.
- Collaborate with the broader EUC team to provide global support to users within the organization.
- Provide support to users through both remote and in-person channels.
- Deploy, configure, and update software applications and operating systems.
- Collaborate with the IT Security team to ensure end-user devices are secure.
- Oversee and coordinate projects given to the End User Computing team.
- Occasional interstate travel maybe required
Your skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you’ll have:
- 3+ years of experience in end-user computing or IT support roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 11, macOS, iOS and Android operating systems.
- Experience with endpoint management tools such as Intune and Azure AD.
- Proficient in Office 365, MS Teams, and Zoom rooms systems.
- Understanding of site server and network infrastructure.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with warehouse/manufacturing environments is a plus.
- You must have a valid Australian Driver's License and ownership of a car (you will be reimbursed with fuel expenses from the company to the sites required)
