This International Freight Forwarder located in Botany is seeking an experienced Import Air Operator to join the team. In the role you will be responsible for the end to end processing of Import Air shipments. To be an eligible applicant you must have previous experience working with a freight forwarder in Australia, in import airfreight operations. CargoWise experience is required. Duties & responsibilities include:
Job registration
Monitoring cargo availability and status
Coordinating airport retrieval to bond store
Cargo automation
Organising & lodging underbond movement requests
Finalising invoices to clients, overseas offices and third parties
Collection & handover of delivery orders
Following up of delayed or short landed freight
Pro-active in updating customers on the progress of their shipments
Liaising with airlines, freight forwarders, overseas offices, customers, suppliers and internal staff
