$73,300+ Superannuation
Essential criteria:
• Prepare, cook and serve menu ensuring a high level of quality and presentation
• Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures
• Explaining and enforcing safe & hygienic food practices and compliance including HACCP
• Creation of menus utilizing seasonal produce
• Ordering, receiving and storing, effective stock control, stocktaking
• Estimating food and labour costs and discussing these with the manager
• Discussing food preparation issues with the manager and kitchen staff
• Provide training staff members
• The availability to work on weekends
Knowledge of Mediterranean Cuisine is a preference
Skills Required
• Min Diploma in relevant field such as Culinary, Hospitality Management (including Commercial Cookery) and min 2 years work experience in relevant field or
• Min 3 years work experience in the relevant field
