NH Foods (Thomas Borthwicks and Oakey Beef Exports) are currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Maintenance Planner to join their team in Mackay and Oakey.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Developing and overseeing detailed maintenance schedules and work orders
- Coordinating and scheduling all maintenance activities to optimize operational efficiency
- Ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations and industry standards in all maintenance work
- Maintaining accurate records of performed maintenance, equipment condition, and associated costs
- Collaborating with engineering and operations teams to strategize and implement equipment modifications and upgrades
- Procuring essential maintenance supplies and equipment
- Collaborating with vendors and contractors when necessary
- Actively participating in the development and implementation of maintenance policies, procedures, and best practices
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Maintenance Planner
- A Certificate in Maintenance Engineering or relevant
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Strong organization and planning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- In-depth knowledge of safety regulation and industry standards
- Proficiency in utilizing maintenance planning and scheduling software
- Effective problem-solving skills
Salary range is $70,000-$85,000pa commensurate with experience.
