Key Responsibilities:
• Strategic Planning:
o Develop, implement, and monitor supply, storage, and distribution strategies in alignment with business goals.
o Prepare and execute plans to maintain optimal stock levels at minimal costs while ensuring timely replenishment of supplies.
• Procurement & Negotiation:
o Negotiate contracts with suppliers to meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
o Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity and quality of goods.
• Inventory Management:
o Monitor and review storage systems, inventory processes, and stock control mechanisms to meet supply requirements.
o Ensure efficient and accurate inventory tracking and management using recording systems for movement, re-ordering, and re-stocking of supplies and finished goods.
• Logistics & Distribution:
o Coordinate with various departments and customers to ensure that goods are delivered in accordance with their requirements, using appropriate forwarding transportation.
o Oversee and manage the distribution of goods to meet timelines and customer satisfaction.
• Team Leadership:
o Direct and oversee the activities of supply and distribution staff, monitoring their performance and providing training and development opportunities as necessary.
• Compliance & Reporting:
o Ensure accurate documentation of all purchase, storage, and distribution transactions.
Salary range $75,000.00 to $85,000.000 pa + superannuation
