Cessnock City Council has a rare opportunity for an experienced individual to join us as a Library Officer specialising in providing and delivering high quality programs and events, information and reader's advisory services for senior citizens.
This dynamic role is responsible for taking the lead in planning, developing, promoting and delivering engaging library programs and events tailored specifically for seniors in line with the Library's strategic objectives, igniting their passion for literacy, creativity and lifelong learning and recreational activities while also building social connections within the community. Collaboration will be at the heart of your work in this role as you plan and deliver an annual calendar of events, programs, outreach activities and talks in consultation with community groups and relevant staff, ensuring each activity is effectively promoted.
