Happy days Coffee Pot Happy days is seeking a full time Chef with the right attitude and passion for working with at least 1 year of relevant kitchen experience and a minimum of a Diploma qualification or equivalent in substantial experience. Salary ($74000- $76,000 )+ super for this full-time position. As the Chef, you will undergo the following responsibilities and tasks. Responsibilities: Ensure great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen Ensure all food and other items are stored properly Check quality of ingredients Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortage Prepare meals and dining experience for catered special events Prepare Menu and cost management Manage portion control Setting up workstations with all needed ingredients and cooking equipment Preparing ingredients to use in cooking (chopping and peeling vegetables, cutting meat etc.) Participate in the planning and creation of restaurant menu Prepare meals and dining experience for catered special events Aid in the supervision and performance of kitchen staff Qualifications: Minimum of a Diploma qualification or equivalent in substantial experience. Experience Requirement: At least 1 years of kitchen experience in highly relevant role required. Experience in western cuisines, international cuisines Essential Skills: Strong command on English languages preferred (not essential, but beneficial for communicating with customers and kitchen staff on dietary requirements when called upon) Good cooking and presentation skills Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and assist with all facets of kitchen operation Able to work in a team and lead a team Good communication skills Maintain good health and hygiene Ability to train cooks and junior staff Great time management and organisation skills Apply: If you satisfy the above please apply without hesitation outlining why you are suitable.
