Location: Nobbys Beach, Gold Coast Salary: 68,000 - 75,000 per year + supperannuation - depending on experience BenefitsTask & Responsibilities Prepare and cook dishes according to the menu and high standards of Franc Jrs. Maintain an organized kitchen, ensuring food is prepared efficiently and to the required quality. Ensure ingredients are properly stored, labelled, and rotated to minimize waste. Assist with menu planning and curating specials in line with seasonal availability. Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to the head chef or kitchen manager. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen, adhering to safety standards. Qualification & Experience Minimum of 2 years full-time experience as a Chef. Relevant qualifications, such as a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and Diploma of Hospitality Management or equivalent. Experience in food preparation, cooking, and cleaning procedures. Ability to follow the head instructions and assist in daily kitchen operations. Able to work effectively as part of our dynamic kitchen and as part of a team to ensure smooth operations. Excellent communication skills. Possess a positive can-do attitude, even when working in high-pressure environments. Flexible to work across a rotating roster including late nights and weekends and some public holiday. Applications from Australian Citizens and Permanent Residents are highly encouraged.
