Humpty Doo Barramundi Pty Ltd Aquaculture Farmer - Barramundi Humpty Doo Barramundi are seeking Aquaculture Farmers to join the team for operation and management of our Barramundi farm. Benefits Come work for and established family company that is a progressive industry leader We pride ourselves on team work and culture Task & Responsibilities Management and coordination of staff and teams Planning of farming operations for fish stocks, including stocking, transfers, grading and harvest activities between farm facilities such Maintaining Bio-Security protocols and standards, including risk prevention for safeguard of fish stocks Maintain follow, develop and train staff in standard Operating procedures and ensure work health safety standards are adhered to. Data collection and interpretation for fish stocks, including developing strategies for growth Managing strategies for fish growth in line with market conditions Ensure that farming impacts on the environment are minimal and adhering to current licensing and regulations Coordinating and overseeing farm production areas: including but not limited to harvesting, grading, processing and packaging operations for fish stocks Overseeing data collection and analysis and farm technology systems for planning and reporting purposes Coordinating and overseeing strategies to monitor and maintain fish health, Directing and overseeing farm activities including the provision and maintenance of farming infrastructure ponds and equipment Maintaining and evaluating records of farming activities, monitoring market activity and planning production accordingly overseeing data collection and analysis and farm technology systems Management of team budgets and reporting to executive team and company board Engagement of contractors and specialist for select services Qualification & Experience 5 years relevant experience in Aquaculture Relevant Aquaculture Degree or equivalent Excellent organisational and time management skills, and well developed oral and written communication skills Commercial production experience Previous demonstrated leadership experience Must have current driver’s license Own reliable transport First Aid or ability to obtain High attention to detail and willingness to learn About Company Humpty Doo Barramundi is Australia's largest Barramundi farm.
