Humpty Doo Barramundi Pty Ltd Humpty Doo Barramundi are currently seeking Aquaculture workers for our fish farm for a range of operational duties associated with the day to day running of our barramundi farming operation, including the promotion of fish health, welfare and security, ensuring fish are optimally fed for efficiency and effectiveness as well as general maintenance of ponds and the farm. Task & Responsibilities Fish Feeding Data collection and record maintenance Observational checks on fish behaviour Equipment cleaning and sterilization Grading of fish Fish sample collection Harvesting fish Fish stock handling Water quality monitoring and recording data Maintaining hygiene and biosecurity Harvest set up and pack down procedures Net run and harvest activities Basic net mending duties Ice making and aerating Farm husbandry and weed management Fish husbandry including feeding and removing fish mortalities as required Record feed & fish data Pond maintenance General farm maintenance Operate farm machinery and equipment (Tractors, trucks and forklift) You should be: Physically fit for outdoors work Able to swim and tread water (as you will need to enter the water) Able to demonstrate excellent observation and communication skills Able to demonstrate reliability Able to demonstrate experience in aquaculture Qualification & Experience Certificate I or Certificate II in Aquaculture or higher 2- 3 years experience in Aquaculture Must have current manual drivers license First Aid or ability to obtain Reliable transport About Company Humpty Doo Barramundi is Australia's biggest Barramundi farm.
