Humpty Doo Barramundi Pty Ltd We are currently seeking Aquaculture Supervisors, to join our team for day to day running of our aquaculture nurseries that support HDB’s farming operations. The successful individual will have demonstrated experience in Aquaculture for commercial food production. Task & Responsibilities Daily supervisor and direction of staff Ensuring work health safety, environmental and company standards are adhered to Training staff on Standard Operating Procedures and Production Processes Fish Feeding, adjustments and data analysis Daily data collection and relevant reporting Operation scheduling and planning of fish stocks Observational checks on fish behaviour and health Equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting Maintenance and optimization of RAS System Water quality monitoring, maintenance, and analysis Fish Grading and Movement / Transportation Fish Sampling and Monitoring fish performance Inventory stock takes and consumables ordering Meet KPI targets for production and standards Staff management, including resolving complaints /grievances, hiring and training of new team members Qualification & Experience Certificate III Aquaculture or Aquaculture Diploma At least 3 years aquaculture sea food production experience (fish or prawns) Experience in hatchery & nursery are highly desirable (RAS system) Leadership experience in a production role and meet KPI targets Excellent communication skills, written and oral Computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) Awareness and attention to details Organized, efficient, proactive, and positive attitude Must have current manual driver’s license and own reliable transport First Aid Certificate or ability to obtain About Company Humpty Doo Barramundi is Australia's largest Barramundi farm.
