Swart and Sons are a multifaceted industrial services company based in Adelaide. Our heritage division urgently requires a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team.
Your duties will include:
Perform maintenance and repair activities
Utilise maintenance worksheets to accurately record job progress
Identify and act on opportunities for improvement
Maintain a clean & tidy work area free of FOD
Take all reasonable steps to ensure own safety and the safety of others
Actively participate as a team member to achieve team goals
The ideal candidate will possess:
Experience handling and working with high pressure vessels is preferred;
Ability to trouble shoot diagnostic repairs
Maintenance of minor and major repairs of all mechanical equipment used for water seepage control and coating equipment
Creating a suitable maintenance schedule and performing maintenance accordingly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a high level of accuracy and the ability to read and understand technical data;
The ability to maintain documentation of work in progress and to follow written procedures;
Capable of working independently with a continuous improvement approach;
Ability to use Information Technology packages such as Microsoft Office and maintenance/production software;
Dangerous goods and/or extinguishing agent handling Licence (EAHL) would be an advantage;

Salary: Between $70,000 and $75,000 per annum + Super
