Position: Software Engineer
Salary: $80,000 plus 11.5% super
Hours: 38 hours

Location: Suite 12 217 Margaret Street, Toowoomba City QLD 4350

Tasks and Responsibilities included but not limited to:
• Engage with stakeholders to gather and interpret software requirements.
• Design software solutions that align with Loginet's strategic objectives, focusing on scalability, performance, and maintainability.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to implement software solutions.
• Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from concept and design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure the continuous integration and delivery of software, applying best practices in DevOps.
• Develop and execute test cases to ensure the functionality and performance of software applications.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure software quality.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Update documentation as systems evolve, ensuring clarity and usability for future developers and users.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, and IT, to deliver software that meets user needs.
• Provide ongoing technical support for software systems, responding to issues and requests with urgency and expertise.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, recommending new tools and practices that can enhance Loginet’s software ecosystem.
• Lead efforts to improve software processes, tools, and methodologies, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Implement security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle, ensuring data integrity and protection against threats.
• Conduct regular assessments to identify and mitigate risks associated with software deployment and operation.
• Monitor software performance and user feedback to identify areas for optimization.
• Utilize metrics and analytics to guide decision-making and improve system efficiency.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor or master’s qualification in Information Technology or relevant field.
