Specifically, our Mount Piper site is a coal-fired power station, running two large steam turbines with a combined generating capacity of 1,400 MW of electricity. The site is located 25 kms from Lithgow in the beautiful central west region of New South Wales.
Our ~200 team members at Mount Piper Power Station choose to live in the surrounding towns, where they enjoy a country lifestyle and access to some of the best nature reserves in the state.
