Our client, an ASX listed gold producing company is reopening their operations. They are currently seeking a Mine Manager to join their operation in January. Reporting to the COO the successful candidate carries full accountability for managing mine planning, geotechnical engineering, mine surveying, projects analysis, ensuring safety and production targets are met.
Requirements:
Tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering;
Quarry Managers Certificate;
Senior Site Executive Certificate;
Solid technical and working knowledge of relevant legislation;
Proficient using Deswik.
Position Duties:
Oversee mine planning functions, including Reserve calculations, Life of Mine (LOM) plans, mine budgets, and both short- and long-term schedules;
Develop, implement, and maintain safe work procedures while promoting safety, health, environmental, and housekeeping practices;
Ensure successful execution of daily, weekly, and monthly plans, while reporting on any variances;
