Your new role
As a Mechanical/Piping Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, analysing, and overseeing industrial refrigeration systems. Your responsibilities will include:
System Design: Develop innovative designs for refrigeration systems, considering efficiency, safety, and environmental impact.
Piping Layouts: Create detailed piping layouts, ensuring optimal flow, pressure, and heat transfer.
Materials Selection: Specify appropriate materials for pipes, valves, and fittings.
Project Coordination: Collaborate with clients, project managers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Problem-Solving: Address technical challenges related to system performance and reliability.
What you'll need to succeed
To excel in this role, you should have:
A degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
Proficiency in designing and analysing mechanical piping systems, ideally from an industrial/refrigeration perspective.
Problem-solving is essential - having the ability to address challenges and find effective solutions.
Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
The ability to convey complex technical information effectively to various stakeholders.
Thoroughness in design and documentation.
