Details: The Fire Management Unit within ACT Parks and Conservation (PCS) are looking for someone who will be responsible for the oversight and implementation of the PCS prescribed burning program.
The section is responsible for the planning and delivery of bushfire mitigation and preparedness activities, management of the ACT fire trail network on public lands and commercial forestry operations.
You will manage a small team and coordinate resources in accomplishing burn program delivery and reporting.
Your role includes writing and approving burn plans and IAPs, conduct briefings to ensure that fire operations are compliant with the manual and conducted safely.
