Role Description:
Manhor is high-end luxury award winning boutique male grooming salon in Melbourne CBD and Malvern. We offer hairdressing, barbering and beard services all the way to spa, facials, waxing, massages and skin treatments for men.
Duties:
Clean and sterilize scissors, combs, clippers, and other instruments.
Cut and trim hair according to clients' instructions and/or current hairstyles, using clippers, combs, hand-held blow driers, and scissors.
Drape and pin protective cloths around customers' shoulders.?Question patrons regarding desired services and haircut styles.
Clean work stations and sweep floors.
Keep card files on clientele, recording notes of work done, products used and fees charged after each visit.
Shape and trim beards and moustaches, using scissors.?Apply lather; and shave beards, or neck and temple hair contours, using razors
Stay informed of the latest styles and hair care techniques
Suggest treatments to alleviate hair problems
Shampoo hair if service has Cut + Wash service has been booked.
Maintain Salon cleaning to high standards
Recommend Hair products after service and support cross-selling & upselling of products
Learn about Beauty products, due to big demand for beauty services in the salon
Learn advanced Hair Styling and colouring techniques, due to strong customer demand
Shampoos, conditions, and dries hair, and applies other products to hair to aid in straightening, curling, or styling. Cuts, trims, and styles hair or hair pieces according to clients wishes.
Bleaches, shapes, shaves, or trims facial hair. Colors, highlights, or perms hair according to clients wishes.
Consulting customers about styles and colors and applying hair care products, like treatment oils and masks.
Long to short haircut cuts
Perform Keratin Hair Treatment, conditioning treatment, Straightening treatment

Experience & Qualifications Required:
The Suitable candidate must have at least 2-3 years’ experience in Hairdressing and barbering, along with a certificate IV in Hairdressing.
