Role Description
We are looking for an experienced Indian Cuisine Chef (3+ years) to lead our kitchen team and deliver high-quality, authentic dishes. As a Chef you will be primarily based in our fine-dining set menu restaurant, events, as well as rostered, in our kitchen.
Experience & Skills
Chef Experience: 3+ years (hotel environment desirable)
Kitchen Equipment Proficiency: Proficient in Indian cooking techniques & equipment like tandoor, deep fryer, gas stove, combi oven, Salamander and assorted cooking pans.
Culinary Expertise: Traditional & Modern cooking techniques, menu creation, awareness of dietary needs.
Leadership: Proven ability to lead, train, and manage a successful kitchen team.
Professionalism & Teamwork
• High levels of professionalism, calm under pressure.
• Strong collaboration with both kitchen and Front of House teams.
Operational Management
Efficient kitchen team management, food preparation to the highest standards.
Experience managing rostering, wage budgets, and ordering within budget.
Maintaining food safety, Hygiene, and organisation at all times
Regulating the temperature of equipments i.e. oven, burners, refrigerator, freezer etc.
