The Role
Reporting directly to the Corporate Finance Manager, the role is to provide support for the Finance team with Financial Analysis, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Administration and other ad hoc tasks. The annual salary range is $73,000 to $75,000. The role is responsible for the following:
• Assist with the completion of month end reporting including reconciliations, journal entries and creation of supporting working papers.
• Conducting financial analysis of key business areas, including head office expenditures, daily cash flow reconciliations, and variance analysis against the budget and forecast.
• Assist in the preparation of ABS returns and BAS.
• Assist with the preparation of documentation for the internal and external auditor reviews.
• Provide support to the Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable teams.
• Identify areas for process improvement and efficiencies.
• Other ad hoc accounting duties as required by the Corporate Finance Manager.
About You
To be considered for this role you will possess:
• Tertiary qualification in accounting or commerce, with 2-4 years’ experience.
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable experience.
• Intermediate computer software skills, including Excel (vlook up & pivot tables).
• Organised with a great attention to detail.
• Ability to work within strict deadlines and reporting timetables.
