Gouge Linen & Garment Service is currently recruiting for experienced and qualified Mechanical Engineering Technicians to join their team in Mooroopna VIC.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Determine and implement preventative maintenance schedules on a wide variety of fuel delivery plant and systems (fuel bowsers etc), mechanical & hydraulic assemblies and general building equipment
- Perform repairs and maintenance duties on a wide variety of fuel delivery plant and systems (fuel bowsers etc), mechanical & hydraulic assemblies and general building equipment
- Carry out periodic inspection, cleaning, and equipment servicing
- Assemble and install new equipment
- Perform repairs on leaks; ensure settings of wiring controls; change equipment parts that have become old or defective
- Collaborate with other maintenance workers, company’s officials, and staff to effectively provide solutions to maintenance problems
- Organising and supervising inspection and maintenance of machines and plant
- Attend quickly to emergency call on equipment repair issues, as well as to after work hour calls (as required)
- Perform other duties the supervisor may assign
Skills and Abilities:
- Ideally have a qualification in Mechanical Engineering and or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in relevant field
- Ability to work in a team environment
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
