VERTICORP PTY LTD trading as Fresh Kitchens & Bathrooms has been operating for over 15 years, we offer a Full Home Renovation Service for any work either under an existing roof line or create an extension to your property.
Our in-house team comprises highly experienced staff with a background in design and construction. We also have a dedicated team of skilled tradespeople to provide specialist services in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, plastering, tiling, painting and asbestos removal.
Daily tasks include:
1. Reading and interpreting blueprints and plans to determine material requirements for installation procedures
2. Selecting and ordering material and planning layouts for renovation
3. Safely removing existing fixtures, cabinetry, and flooring to prepare the space for renovations.
4. Measuring, cutting, and assembling materials
5. Building or modifying walls, including framing for new cabinetry, countertops, and any additional structural supports needed.
6. Installation of doors and window frames
7. Fitting of bathroom and kitchen accessories. Installing kitchen cabinets, bathroom vanities, countertops, and other fixtures, ensuring they are level and secure.
8. Cutting wood joints using a variety of hand and power tools safely and effectively.
9. Responsible for other formwork, construction, installation, maintenance and repair work for residential kitchens and bathrooms ensuring the installation of cabinetry and fixtures was completed to a high standard.
Requirements:
1) Certificate III in Carpentry is mandatory
2) At least 2 years of work experience in a related occupation
3) Experience in renovation carpentry preferred
4) Positive attitude and problem-solving ability
5) Ability to work in various residential locations in Brisbane area
Annual salary: $ 74,000 - $84,000 plus superannuation (38 hours/week)
