They are now looking to hire an experienced Manufacturer to join their team.
The Role
The annual salary is set between $75,000 to $85,000, depending on experience plus superannuation and will be based in Warrenheip, VIC
The Responsibilities
Some tasks may include
Analyse market trends and customer needs to identify new product lines and innovative window solutions.
Design and implement efficient manufacturing processes to improve production quality and output.
Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate quotes for specialized window solutions and ensure contracts are finalized with customers.
Negotiate and finalize contracts with suppliers, distributors, and customers to optimize production efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Plan and oversee production run schedules to meet deadlines, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery of products.
Assess customer requirements and market demand to determine the types of window products to be developed and produced.
Develop and execute business plans to guide production operations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
Oversee the creation and implementation of operational workflows, including staff management and workforce training.
Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with relevant regulatory and statutory requirements, including safety and environmental standards.
Supervise and coordinate production teams, warehouse operations, distribution units, and other key operational areas.
Implement and monitor quality control systems to ensure all products meet industry standards and customer expectations.
Oversee the procurement of raw materials, supplies, and equipment needed for production, ensuring timely deliveries and minimal downtime.
Ensure proper packaging and delivery of finished products, coordinating with the distribution team for smooth logistics.
Oversee the coordination of after-sales services to address customer concerns, repairs, or modifications as needed.
The Requirements:
Relevant degree qualification in Business or related field
At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing, preferably in window or construction materials
At least 3 years’ experience proficiency in production planning, scheduling, and process optimization
At least 3 years’ Hands-on experience with relevant manufacturing tools and machinery
Strong knowledge of quality assurance systems and regulatory compliance
Expertise in managing procurement, inventory, and coordination of raw materials and equipment.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies for enhancing efficiency
Ability to prepare accurate cost estimates and quotes for custom manufacturing projects.
Proven experience leading production teams and managing cross-functional operations
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
