Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate educational program based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standards (NQS).
Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, maintaining open communication and collaboration.
Provide individualized support and guidance to children to promote their social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
Create engaging learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs, interests, and abilities of all children.
Document children's learning and development, using observations and reflections to inform planning and assessment.
Support and mentor other educators, including providing feedback and professional development opportunities.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures, including health and safety requirements.
Requirements:
Minimum of Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification approved by ACECQA.
3 years of experience working as a Lead Educator or similar role in an early childhood education setting.
Sound knowledge and understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and relevant legislation and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Strong leadership skills, including the ability to motivate and inspire a team of educators.
Commitment to ongoing professional development and reflective practice.
Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate (including CPR, asthma, and anaphylaxis training).
