ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Functional Responsibilities:
Supports the CI Manager in identifying and tracking OEE, the Cost of Poor Quality, Efficiency and Availability.
Analyses quality data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Develop work measure performance programs to establish labour standards
Analysing labour utilisation, process layout, operational data and production schedules to develop efficient operations
Identifies with the Production Managers the priorities of process improvement.
Supports Plant Teams in increasing the effectiveness of processes.
Develops project plans for implementing improvements and monitors the new processes to ensure they work as intended.
• Supports the CI Manager in leading the implementation of the software package (SCADA) dedicated to OEE.
• Acts in a cross-functional way involving all cross-functional departments.
• Studies organization charts, conducts time studies, and project information to determine functional work units and to identify areas and equipment requirements to provide safe operational process flow within the organization.
• Analyse production flows to create facility layout, and operational data such as operational costs, process flow charts, and Safety requirements, to determine efficient utilization of personnel and equipment.
• Recommend methods for improving production efficiency and costs while reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and the purchase of equipment.
• Confers with management and production staff to implement plans and recommendations, Plays a key role in Best Manufacturing Practices.
• Follow all department and plant safety rules.
• Maintain Primo Manufacturing Processes and Standards

Skills/Competencies:
Tertiary Education in Engineering
Optional: Master and/or any other further qualification related to in Engineering or Business Management
Six Sigma black or green belt exposure and/or experience
Minimum 3 – 5 year’s experience in Manufacturing Environment
Statistical Process Control, Capability study, Control Plan
Problem solving technique
Mechanical and/or Electrical aptitude
Process Equipment knowledge
Good Microsoft Office Skills (Excel, Project)
Good communication and people skills
Mechinical and/or electrical aptitude
Ability to work in a team environment
Actively participate in C & I initiatives
Ability to follow instructions
Experience within the FMCG environment

Pay: $135,000.00 – $145,000.00 per year
