We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Manager to help steer our small business toward greater success. Salary: $100,000 to $110,000 base salary + superannuation commission
This is a full-time permanent role
About the role
• Lead the development and execution of sales strategies to drive business growth and meet revenue targets.
• Identify new business opportunities across sectors such as automotive, oil and gas, renewables and mining.
• Build and nurture relationships with potential clients, showcasing the value of our services.
• Manage the sales pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure.
• Provide insights and recommendations to enhance business processes and operations.
• Enhance brand awareness and promote Birmont Group’s services to a wider audience, driving client acquisition and retention.
• Oversee strategies that strengthen customer engagement and foster long-term partnerships.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align business development initiatives with overall company objectives.
Key Requirements:
• Proven experience in a sales role, ideally within a small business environment.
• Strong entrepreneurial drive with a demonstrated ability to lead growth initiatives.
• Excellent communication, leadership and relationship-building skills.
• Strategic thinking with the ability to implement sales strategies effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in Business or at least five years of experience in a sales role.
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
