Job Description:
The Hostel Manager will be responsible for managing the overall operations of The Hive Hostel. You will ensure high standards of service, guest satisfaction, and operational efficiency. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining our fun, friendly, and welcoming atmosphere, while also driving business success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the daily operations of the hostel, ensuring efficiency and compliance with standards.
• Deliver excellent guest service to ensure high levels of satisfaction and repeat business.
• Manage, train, and motivate a diverse team of hostel staff.
• Develop and implement strategies for increasing occupancy and revenue growth.
• Oversee budget management, and ensure profitability.
• Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment.
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of experience in hospitality management, preferably in hostels or hotels.
• Strong leadership and staff management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Financial acumen, with experience handling budgets and financial operations.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to perform well under pressure.
• A passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
