About the role
Alphaweld is currently seeking to employ a fully time experienced Electrician for our service department in Canning Vale WA. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations Director and sales team.
Key responsibilities include:
Fault finding of welding machines and other electrical equipment
Be able to read, interpret and execute drawings, schematics and electrical code specifications to welding machines and other equipment
Clearly articulate job scopes for repairs and calculate chargeable hours
Test welding machines and equipment and parts for continuity, current, voltage and resistance
Install, repair and maintain welding machines, motors, water coolers, relays and gas electrical controls
Install, repair and maintain generators and generator welders
Assemble, pre-delivery and testing of new welding equipment
Conduct service calls to customers premises to service or repair welding machines
Interact with customers and resolve customer queries in relation to their welding machines

Ability to work unsupervised
This role is full time Monday to Friday 7am to 4pm. The successful candidate can expect an excellent salary package based on experience and work ethic/attitude.
