About the Role
We are currently seeking applications for a Weighbridge Operator at Invicta Mill in the township of Giru, south of Townsville. This is a seasonal position in our sugar processing factory which requires shift work during the crushing season on a rotating roster. The roster is a Lifestyle Roster on a 4/5 rotation and shift hours are 4am - 4pm or 4pm -4am. In 28 days, you'll work 14 shifts which will include a mixture of 7 days & 7 nights with 2 weekends off a month.
The Weighbridge Operator is responsible for the correct weighing of all cane entering the weighbridge and data entry from the consignment information. This position is also responsible for cleaning, work in confined spaces and maintaining records.
