Your new role
On behalf of a large Federal Government, we are looking for an experienced Project Officer. This initially a 6 month fixed-term contract is initially for 6 months, with likely extension.
Your new role as a project officer is a diverse role that would benefit applicants looking to build upon their experience in project management and support.
Your primary responsibilities are:
Contribute to the planning, management and coordination of projects and project deliverables
Produce written documents including reports, business cases and verbal presentations for staff and senior managers
Contribute to impacts assessments for potential changes to the business (policies, procedures, IT systems or reporting)
Contribute to the development and delivery of business and functional requirements, workflow processes and procedure documents
Assisting with the implementation of changes
Collaborate and provide subject matter expertise support within a project team
What you'll need to succeed
Experience or knowledge of business analysis techniques
Experience in project delivery management methodologies
Experience in procurement and finance administration
Experience or knowledge of change management or stakeholder engagement principles
It is a requirement that you are an Australian citizen and completed pre-employment check processes including criminal history check and medical declaration.
What you'll get in return
You will be part of a fast-paced workforce and can further progress your project and communication skills. The salary range is $84,627 - $91,520 + super.
