We welcome a qualified full-time enthusiastic Lifestyle Therapist to join our team in our south-east Melbourne sites.
As a Lifestyle Therapist, you will develop and deliver meaningful activities to enhance the individual wellbeing and lifestyle care needs of our residents to support their lifestyle choices, habits and challenges that improve their quality of life.
Your goal is to inspire and motivate residents to live their best life.
Hours of work
• Monday – Friday
• 0900 – 1700
• Occasional out of hours work to support resident activities

What you’ll be doing
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of lifestyle habits and health goals
• Support design and delivery of lifestyle and wellbeing care programs
• Develop personalised lifestyle plans that address nutrition, fitness, and mental wellbeing
• Review and evaluation of wellbeing care plans and assessments
• Provide an exceptional stakeholder experience
• Collaborate with care staff to ensure a holistic approach
• Stay updated on wellness trends and best practices to provide the best care
• Organise workshops and group sessions to promote wellness
Things that matter to us
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or
• Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
• Experience in counselling or coaching preferred
• Passion for promoting holistic health and wellness
• Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations
• NDIS Check
• Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
