Residential Full Time Position
Reporting to the Mechanical Coordinator the primary responsibilities of this role include breakdown, fault finding, shutdown and preventative maintenance on fixed plant, scoping continuous improvement opportunities, raising observations and work orders and participation in the development of safe work procedures. This is a permanent full-time position working an attractive 7:7 Continuous shift roster.
install and repair mechanical systems, apparatus and components of industrial machinery and equipment;
follow mechanical code, manuals, schematic drawings, blueprints and other specifications;
diagnose malfunctioning apparatus such as pumps, crushers and agitators;
replace damaged or broken parts using hand tools;
test malfunctioning machinery using test equipment;
carry out housekeeping tasks during and after maintenance to ensure safe work areas;
participate in the development and review of safe work procedures;
complete scheduled maintenance activities
