Overview
Be accountable for the service of all food and beverage through effective people management, maximising revenue opportunities and maintaining cost controls whilst providing total customer satisfaction with all customer contact.
Responsibilities
Lead by example in being highly proficient in all Food and Beverage Standards
Ensure all staff adhere to the standards and procedures defined in each outlet on the completion of training Ensure all staff achieve grooming standards
Provide support and advice to the General Manager and supervisors to ensure rosters and labour costs meet budgeted financial outcomes.
Ensure quality control of all food and beverages to guests.
Ensure all food and beverage areas are maintained in a hygienic, tidy and safe manner.
Positively contribute in the ongoing development of the food and beverage product and service initiatives.
Contribute to and support the development and implementation of marketing initiatives for Food and Beverage.
Ensure all staff are thoroughly orientated.
Duties
Liaise with Head Chef or his/her designate to enhance food range and quality.
Responsible to ensure the food and beverage team works in a safe and responsible manner and follows all occupational health and safety requirements.
Ensure quality control of all food and beverages to guests.
Ensure all food and beverage areas are maintained in a hygienic, tidy and safe manner.
Ensure a thorough handover occurs between all shifts
Identify training needs, providing feedback on these and assisting in the delivery of training
Assist in the ongoing formation and delivery of training to food and beverage staff
Provide accurate and timely feedback to Food and Beverage staff on their performance.
Undertake rostering based on needs of the restaurant
Reconciling, Preparing and processing accounts
Qualifications & experience Required
Diploma or higher in Hospitality/Management
5 years post qualification/training in Hospitality, including 3 years in management/supervisory positions

$73,000-$75,000 + Super
