About the role
In the role of Automotive Trainer your day-to-day tasks will include:
• Class Preparation
• Class Teaching
• Practical Training; basic car service, car batteries
• Student Support; creating an encouraging and positive learning environment.
• Professional engagement with teachers and parents
• Grading and reporting
• General administration and compliance
Required skills.
• Working with young people
• Computer skills
• A systematic approach to paperwork and compliance
• High self-management
• Experienced mechanic
Required licenses and qualifications.
• A working with children Blue Card
• Certificate III qualification in the Automotive industry
• TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent)
• A current Queensland drivers license and reliable personal transport
