An exciting full-time opportunity is now available for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join our Head Office Finance team. Based at our Richmond location, ideally, you will thrive in a busy office environment where multi-tasking and prioritising are essential. Reporting to the Transactional Services Manager, your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring all local invoices and payments are processed promptly and accurately.
- Following up on any invoice disputes to achieve positive outcomes.
- Maintaining high-standard relationships with local vendors and internal departments.
- Setting up new suppliers.
- Ensuring the appropriate sign-off/ authority for all payments is accurate when loaded into internal systems.
- Sending remittance advice.
- Performing monthly supplier reconciliations
- Ensuring the stock number accuracy for each vehicle to cost freight.
- Maintaining an up-to-date vendor file for transportation companies.
- Delivering accurate and timely month-end processes by company standards.
- Assisting with ad hoc queries.
