Salary: $75,000 - $100,000 (based on experience) + superannuation

Position: Experienced Carpenter (permanent position)
Job Description: As an experienced carpenter, you will be responsible for:
- Constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and plasterboard.
- Interpreting and reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully grasp requirements.
- Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed.
- Cutting, shaping, and smoothing lumber and other material according to measurements.
- Building window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings by using raw materials or pre-constructed items.
- Laying out flooring, roofing etc ensuring they are levelled and compatible.
- Inspecting places and conducting repairs or maintenance.
- Building scaffolding and other construction structures.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter with a strong portfolio of previous projects.
- Hands-on experience in working with carpentry materials.
- Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction.
- Proficient in using electrical and manual equipment and measurement tools (powered saws, hammers, rulers, etc.)
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.
- Good physical condition and endurance.
- Successful completion of a carpentry apprenticeship program is required.
- At least 2 years fulltime experience as a qualified carpenter
- Cert III in Carpentry (or equivalent) + HSC or equivalent preferable
