Harrybilt Engineering & Welding Services is currently looking to recruit an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join their team in Wendouree VIC 3355.
The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:
- Diagnose any problems with the vehicles or machinery by using scanning tools and computers
- Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
- Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
- Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
- Undertake inspections, assessments and maintenance on Vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
Skills & Abilities:
- Ideally have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
- Logical and clear thinker
- Excellent problem solver
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
Qualifications
- A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant
Salary range is $70,000 - $85,000pa commensurate with experience
