Currently, they are seeking skilled chefs passionate about crafting top-quality dishes to join their talented team.
• Position: Chef
• Salary: $73,500 plus Superannuation
• Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Must be available to work on weekends and public holidays.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Prepare all dishes listed on the menu.
• Develop new recipes and assist in defining menu items.
• Stay current with customer preferences and deliver dishes that meet their taste requirements.
• Follow cooking instructions and recipes for all signature dishes, maintaining high standards.
• Prepare and set up all ingredients and materials needed for cooking.
• Supervise kitchen staff to ensure operational standards are maintained.
• Provide training to kitchen staff as needed.
• Manage and schedule all kitchen staff.
• Effectively manage kitchen operations through the docket system.
• Maintain a sanitized and organized workstation, ensuring high levels of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
Key Skills and Attributes:
• Relevant qualifications with a minimum of 3 years of professional experience.
• A Certificate IV or higher qualification.
• Ability to focus and manage the team effectively in a high-pressure environment.
• Full working rights within Australia are mandatory.
