Hairdresser (Trichologist)
- Providing advice on hair care, products, and hairstyles suitable for various hair types.
- Washing and conditioning the hair of salon clients
- Assisting clients with diagnosing, treating, and managing hair and scalp conditions, including hair therapy, hair loss support, dandruff, oiliness, scalp vitamins, and phototherapy.
- Work with hair chemical solutions, such as straightening and colouring hair, including blonde highlights and balayage.
- Cutting and trimming hair using scissors, clippers, and razors.
- Styling hair of the clients using drying and brushing techniques.
- Collaborating with other salon staff to manage queues and refer clients for payments.
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of proven experience as a hairdresser
- Diploma or higher in trichologist or relevant field is required; or 3 years of work experience may substitute relevant qualification
Other Main requirements to be considered for the position
- Must speak English and Portuguese and/or Spanish
- Must be available to do night shifts on Tuesdays and Thursdays
- Must be available to work on Saturdays from 8am to 4pm
- Full-time work rights in Australia is required
Job Type: Full-time
Annual Salary: $73,000 - $83,000 + Superannuation
Roster: 38 hours per week (Tuesday to Saturday)
