Coreserve Australia Pty Ltd, is a Facility Service Provider providing multiple services to the hospitality, educational, aged care, correctional and government sectors.
Due to continued growth we are seeking a catering equipment technician to service the Greater Sydney Area. You will need to be self sufficient and be skilled in Gas and Electrical equipment servicing.
As a Catering Equipment Technician you will:
• Confidently perform routine maintenance, diagnose, and repair a wide range of commercial kitchen
• Conduct thorough inspections to identify equipment malfunctions, faulty components, and potential issues.
• Efficiently troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in a timely manner to minimise downtime and optimise functionality
• Collaborate with clients and provide exceptional customer service, addressing their concerns and offering recommendations for
equipment upgrades or replacements
• Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs, and parts used, ensuring proper documentation and reporting
• Stay updated with industry advancements and new technologies to enhance skills and knowledge
• Complete reports in Simpro on a timely manner
• Be licensed or working to become an Electrical Equipment (Electrician or Electrician Special Class, we can assist with training)
• Enjoy building relationships and trust with clients
Requirements:
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues effectively.
• Proficiency in reading technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts, as required
• Police clearance and working with children will be required
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience as a Catering Equipment Technician or similar;
• A Relevant industry qualification preferred but not essential
Salary of $70,000 to $80,000 per annum plus Superannuation, vehicle, phone benefits and overtime
