About the role
Reporting to Managing Director at SIMEC Energy Australia (SEA) and working closely with the key stakeholders and asset owners, the Energy Development Manager will lead the ideation, initiation, development and commercialisation of complex energy solution projects to support industrial decarbonisation for SIMEC Energy Australias (SEA) customers within the Australian GFG businesses.
You will provide technical and regulatory electricity grid and transmission expertise, as well as industry knowledge and origination and development experience to a range of the energy solution projects, including energy efficiency, clean energy (including solar and wind), Hydrogen developments and Battery Energy Storage Systems. The key driver for developing energy projects is to help SEAs GFG customers manage their energy costs, with increasing demand, price volatility and the need to decarbonise, noting GFGs
