The position
Molycop is looking for experienced Fitters to support the Maintenance of our Rail Products department in Waratah, Newcastle. In this critical role, you will utilize your comprehensive mechanical and/or process knowledge to repair and maintain our plant and equipment, to ensure that Molycop can produce the highest quality and innovative products for our customers.
The successful applicant will build plant knowledge on day shift and demonstrate strong fault-finding ability, the position will start as day work from , before the possibility of moving to shift work when trained.
Key responsibilities include:
Equipment breakdown diagnosis and fault-finding.
Preventative maintenance activities to enhance reliability:
Safely executing breakdown equipment repairs;
Simple mechanical planning;
Data capture in CMMS (asset management software); and
Working closely with other trade disciplines and operators.
