About the organisation Launched in , Melanoma Patients Australia (MPA) is the only national, patient driven, non-profit organisation that offers a national network of support and information to patients, their families, carers, and friends, about melanoma prevention, diagnosis, management, and treatment. MPA provides professional support services (including webinars, face-to-face support groups, phoneline, and online communities), information, patient advocacy, and patient leadership to industry stakeholders. As the true voice of patients and carers, MPA also advocates on behalf of patients to all levels of government, as well as relevant service organisations, researchers, and corporations; and supports research and clinical trials seeking to offer the best options for melanoma patients.
